Prefinished and custom-finished hardwood flooring is the biggest source of pride within the company. Both types of hardwood flooring are offered because each has distinctive advantages. Unfinished hardwood flooring can be custom-stained to match existing flooring, furniture, or other millwork. Laser-cut borders, medallions, and inlays can also be manufactured to architectural- or homeowner-originated specifications. Many floors are the combination of two or three species of wood. All custom floors are sanded and finished by company specialists. Handrubbed oil and wax finishing, a service many wood flooring firms do not offer, is also an area of our specialization.

Prefinished hardwood flooring is gaining in popularity because of the many advantages it brings to the building and remodeling trade. Installation time is more than cut in half, freeing the home up for other activities. The aluminum oxide finish used on prefinished flooring is better than any custom finish and cannot be duplicated in the field. It is done in a climate-controlled environment that produces furniture quality finishes. Many prefinished products carry a 15- to 25-year warranty.

An exclusive model home program is offered to all Registered Residential Flooring Contractors. The program guidelines require: * The model must remain a model home for a minimum of 90 days. * Bruce provides a 50% discount on the cost of flooring material for model(s) up to 800 square feet per development. This footage can be divided among any number of models. * A Bruce 9-slot Builder Display with your choice of samples is provided at no charge for on-site product merchandising.
